COVID-19 Update 15th June 2020 – Reopening

We understand that there may be some confusion as to whether we are able to open from the 15th of June, as non-essential retail has been given the green light to resume service by the Government. Unfortunately, we do not fall in this bracket. As stated previously, our services fall under the bracket of hairdressing, and as such, we will not be able to open until the 4th of July at the earliest.

We are pleased to announce that we will be open from the 6th of July 2020 at 10am, providing the Government do not push this date back further.

We will shortly be contacting clients to confirm existing appointments and arrange new appointments for when we reopen. Please bear in mind that we are experiencing huge numbers of requests from all our clients to be seen as soon as possible, and we must try and make appointment booking as fair and reasonable for each client as possible.

Things have changed a lot here at Optima, and we do need you to be flexible with appointment days and times while we adjust to what is essentially starting from scratch. Evening and weekend appointments have always been popular, and as the country returns to some semblance of normality, we understand clients will have certain time constraints, but we can’t possibly accommodate every client every time with their exact needs. We will be trying our best, so please be patient and understanding with us.

When your appointment is confirmed, we will send you a follow-up email which details exactly what changes we have made, what we will do, and what will be expected of you when you visit us here at Optima. You must read this email in full, otherwise you risk compromising your appointment. If you have any questions we’ll be happy to answer them.

Hopefully this is all coming to an end very soon and we can finally get back to doing what we’ve loved for so long, and you can get your hair seen to after 3 long months! We can’t wait to see you all again.

All my best,

Pete, and all of us at Optima
